MCP Servers
AI agents — Claude and any other MCP-capable client — can use this platform’s data catalog and the data itself directly. No authentication is required and it is free. The transport is Streamable HTTP: register two URLs in your client and you are done.
Servers
https://mcp.data.mkhr.co.jp/catalog
mkhr-data-catalog — The catalog side. It answers what data exists, whether you may use it for a given purpose, and how to word the attribution. It covers every source in the catalog, including those not yet published as data.
search_sources- Find data sources by keyword or domain
get_source- Read one source in detail — publisher, content, whether an API is available
can_i_use- Decide, per intended use, whether a source may be used and what obligations apply
get_attribution- Get ready-to-paste attribution text
https://mcp.data.mkhr.co.jp/data
mkhr-data — The data side. It queries what is currently published: tender records (each with a listed/closed status and its basis), what changed on a given day, awarded contracts by fiscal year, and the entry point for bulk downloads. Results come back as structuredContent (data / meta / license) and errors carry a machine-readable code.
list_published_sources- Which sources are currently published — start here
search_tenders- Search tender records by title, organisation or region; each hit carries status (listed / closed) and its basis
get_tender_events- Get the tenders opened, changed or closed on a given date
search_awards- Search awarded contracts by fiscal year
get_bulk_access- Get the entry point for bulk retrieval via the file API
Data originating from the Kankouju Information Portal (Small and Medium Enterprise Agency) carries tender metadata — title, organisation, dates — and not the tender body text. Refer to the original source when you need the body text.

Every tool that returns data returns the licence terms with it, including any attribution obligation. An agent can decide whether it may use the result, and what it has to credit, without a second round trip.
The data itself stays under the terms of each original publisher. Per-source terms are listed on the data source list.
